Today, my heart rate is elevated and I don't like it. Never again.
Today is my first official day sober with the intent of never going back. Ever onward.

You got this patriot! I have been sober from herion/opiates for almost 11 yrs. I'm to a point I can drink 1 beer and be done. Its a daily battle still almost 11 yrs later but it gets easier with every passing day. Be careful alcohol withdrawals can literally kill you. So if you get bad go to the hospital and be TRUTHFUL on what you are doing. They can monitor for the first few days to get you through the worst. Good luck you can do it!!!
