Weird. Anyway, Anyone Got Any Theories Out There?
I mean it seems like someone is living the words of Christ. You know? Sure, a little provocative, but still following the teachings of Christ to a T. But man -- the reaction!!!
Anyone can think of anyone, maybe a group out there who has a real problem with Christ? Like if there was a written record of a small group of weird priest-type people who claimed that it was a good thing that Jesus was murdered and in the manner he was murdered and that his mother was a two-bit whore?
Obviously not the Jews as they are unassailable victims of hate and never do anything wrong. To suggest otherwise is defamatory. They are perpetual victims who never do anything wrong.
So can anyone think of another group like the Jews but definitely not the Jews. I think we should look there. Canaanites? Seems like they would hate Jesus. Are they still around? I mean I know God commanded the Jews to remove, well kill, all Canaanites from Israel and if there is one thing Jews are known for it is 100% obedience to God - from the very beginning - and not letting shit get out of control by following some false god and abandoning their various covenants with our Creator and various leaders who brought them to the promised land that they covet and despise and dishonor.
Who could it be?
"Caananites" meant "people living in the area now called Jordan, Israel, Lebanon," because the whole area was "Canaan." There were specific ethnic groups all along who did plenty of fighting with each other. The land of Canaan was a favorite place to invade from north, south, and east. Joshua was tasked to kill Canaanites and he did, but not all of them, nor could he have, because more were always coming. And the Hebrews disobeyed God plenty of times--you must have left out the /s. Elijah complained he was the only true believer left and God told him no, He had reserved 7000 faithful.
The priests and Romans responsible for Jesus' death did so for political advantage, which seems to have been the main motive in persecuting Christians since. Of course Satan did say to Jesus that God had given him, Satan, dominion in the world and political power = worldly power, so the entity you must be alluding to is Satan, metaphysically, or secular powers using fear and hate as a tool.
Just what specifically inspired your statement?
