Democrats and the Fake News are gonna have a very tough time attacking Matt Taibbi, messenger of The Twitter Files tonight.

Taibbi is a contributing editor for far-left Rolling Stone and has written a number of Trump-deranged articles over the last few years.

Elon clearly thought this through and knew to have an anti-Trump journalist deliver the information, knowing he couldn’t be attacked as “biased”.

Brilliant.

He seemed to mellow out though based on his sub stack. Seems to dislike Biden as equally. I say that he's a pretty balanced journalist who has become disillusioned with the political parties (who wouldn't)? Despite that, he reports the facts without a slant. Even if you disagree with his political takes, he is at least a fair and competent journalist, and has earned that title, unlike the 'media activists.'

He acknowledges that the DS exists, and has disagreed with various media takes. He advocates for a change in media reporting, and for them to return to a truthful style of reporting, free from bias

I am assuming he experienced a spurt of personal growth in the past couple years.

He was shown the truth. Got a conscious. Some do.. most don't. Sometimes you're more pissed that you fell for all the lies and the pats on the backs for being a good sheep reporter. Others when they find out are out for the kill. Ready to take them down ,ready to crush them, stomp them out. Very smart of Elon to use a ( this) reporter to put the story out there instead of doing it himself.
