A friend shared this on FB. Interesting how God is moving.
Yesterday while sitting in the prayer room the Lord said to me “Order in the House”. It was not like a judge saying order in the court…it was a proclamation of order into chaos and He was speaking to us about Him bringing kingdom order into areas of our lives. Chaos is out of order according to His Kingdom order. Sickness is chaos, broken families and relationships are chaos, mental illness is chaos, financial difficulties (whether self imposed or a product of circumstance) are out of order. Bondages and addictions…out of His Kingdom order. He was speaking ORDER into chaos among His people. Situations that are overwhelming and unbearable that have been with His people for years along with generational cycles of trauma, addiction and pain. There was the sense of speaking light into the darkness as He did in creation.
Then He said, “the Lamb is working…the Lion is roaring”. When I said this to some of our leaders, one said “He is moving in power and authority”. Power because of His shed blood and authority because of His victory. In that statement I saw all of our efforts to fix it, heal it, shift it, reconcile it, etc.. He again said, “the Lamb is working…the Lion is roaring”.
Friends, this is an invitation to allow the God of ALL PEACE to move into these areas and bring order into the chaos. It is an ACTIVE pursuit for us to enter into His Rest (His Peace) and allow Him to do what we are unable to do. He is God, we are not and we are His!
Last night at our First Friday gathering, we were ministering into this. One of our leaders declared this scripture and it all became clear to me.
ROMANS 16:20 The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.
WOW. At that moment peace came into the room. It was not mamby-pamby peace or a tranquil moment. His peace was weighty and carried authority. His peace is not passive, it is active and we find His peace when we cease from our labors and enter into His rest. This does not even mean we are passive as we must “strive to enter that rest, so no one will fall by the same unbelief” (Heb. 4:11). It is active trust, it is a positional change.
In 1997 at our first citywide prayer meeting the Lord gave me one simple word for those gathered. “I am looking for those that will follow the Lamb, not lead the Lamb”. Meaning, we do not move forward in our own efforts and ask God to move. We still ourselves, find rest, and allow the Lamb to lead. It is a positional change.
My friends, I want to encourage you today that the Lamb is working on our behalf, however, we must enter the position of finding rest in Him. Letting go of our fleshly control and yielding to His leadership. I want to encourage you that He is not blind to your situation. He is speaking ORDER IN THE HOUSE (HIS CHURCH). Work to find His rest, allow Him to bring order into the chaos. The Lamb IS working…the LION is roaring and He carries victory wherever we allow Him.
Blessings to you today. Sherrie G. Moore
Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets. 8 The lion has roared— who will not fear? The Lord GOD has spoken— who will not prophesy?
