Releasing information inconvenient for the establishment on a Friday night is a well-known way to kill a story's exposure.

We got a small victory, but the information we needed to get out there was intentionally released in the least damaging way possible.

I still don't trust Elon Musk.

Consider this. The MSM would have ignored this story even if it was released on a Monday morning at 10 AM ET. Besides, what was released Friday night is the least damaging portion.
