MTG rightfully calls for one. However, this lame duck Congress will sit on their hands. If McCarthy becomes SOH (God forbid) he will pull shenanigans of either stone walling, or setting up investigational review committee designed to fail. Even if McCarthy is not reelected, who will replace him? Our hope would be a MAGA representative. It is right now a big unknown.
Unfortunately, it's a lot easier to call for an investigation than actually getting one.
