Hey, I was banned for making a similar statement about rope and traitors. Somehow this is okay. I don't have a problem with it, I just wish I knew what the actual rules are nowadays.
I've noticed the standard execution of hanging and its longstanding hangman's noose is now 'racist'. The military still used this for execution. Are they now 'racist' against blacks for it?
It amazes me how words and 'traditional' symbols are easily weaponized. In my youth, my brother and I learned how to tie a 'hangman's' noose. We nailed it on our bedroom wall because it was 'cool'. We liked Clint Eastwood westerns and the movie-- "Once Upon A TIme In The Old West" starring Charles Bronson, Jason Robards, and Henry Fonda was the coolest movie at the time. In fact, that movie kicked off a cultural fad where everyone wanted 'duster' overcoats to wear to school. Wow, I never knew I was a 'racist' for displaying that hangeman's noose in my bedroom. All my friend's thought it was cool too. So, they were 'implicitly' racist.

It's so hard to enforce. This meme nails it

The United States military does not still hang people. The last one they executed by hanging was 1961.
As far as the public knows. Things behind the scenes may be very different
