For something that is very 'normie' but helps to lend a lot of perspective to what is currently happening is the documentary, Ukraine on Fire that Oliver Stone did several years ago. (It is pre-DJT, which eliminates that prejudiced excuse to not watch.) Helps to lay a foundation that Putin didn't just wake up one morning earlier this year and decide to send out troops.
