Anybody who is in the office of the president, and their family members can make money. Unfortunately for Trump personally, he lost money. But that’s because he was working hard for America, and giving away his salary. But that doesn’t mean that other people that were in his family could not have profited off of him being an office. That is a normal thing! If people are pissed off about that, why don’t you ask them how much Obama, the bushes, Clintons, made off of being an office. That would be more of a better question
