NZ created a stamp with a picture of the Prime Minister of NZ on it, they found there was issues with these stamps as they had trouble sticking to the envelopes and parcels.

The PM was furious and demanded a full investigation, this took a month and cost $2.71 million.

The committees finding were:

The stamp is in perfect order.
There is nothing wrong with the adhesive .
People are spitting on the wrong side of the stamp.
