My husband had just had a major stroke, and I do mean major, as he was given only a 10% chance to survive the night due to his brain swelling, complicated by having covid. Although I'd informed my church, of course, and had many people praying, I posted here what had happened. I knew how Frens would respond, and I wasn't disappointed. The continued support and prayers buoyed me through the first roughest days. On this one year anniversary, my husband has made a full recovery and is back to work. So thank-you Frens and thank-you Mods for letting these posts go through. You are all so appreciated.
TLDR: this community supported me through my husband's stroke, and I'm extremely grateful.
In January 2018 my husband had an aortic dissection and I nearly list him. Many prayers and surgery a year later and restrictive lung disease (from surgeon correcting his pigeon chest ribcage which had nothing to do with the dissection and a vocal cord implant as they nicked his vocal cord in surgery when he has surgery a year later and he is doing pretty good.). He has Marfan’s Syndrome and no doctor had warned him against energy drinks. Ambulance drivers, doctors and surgeons say my husbamd is a walking miracle.
Lord Jesus, Thank you for your many blessings and miracles. I know you still work winders for those who love and trust You. I bear witness to that. Help unbelievers to witness these and come to You because of our testimonies. In Your Almighty and Holy name, Amen
