the scripture is a clarification and an exhortation that GOD and Heaven RESPONDS. God is not only the Creator. He is also responsive. Thus, YOU knock, HE opens the door.
So, you want the door open? Do you sit and wait for it to open? Or do you (help yourself/take action/take steps to bring about the result you want)?
Jesus Christ is the savior of mankind. The only power available to defeat evil is from God. To God be the glory!
God helps those who help themselves.
That is 100% a cabalic axiom if you know anything about the New Testament and esotericism.
Matthew 7:7-8
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
<facepalm>
You missed the whole point.

That is certainly the positive interpretation of that phrase, but is that how it has been sold to the modern world?
That's certainly not the interpretation of most that utter it in my experience.
God put us on this earth to DO things.
I will not for a moment entertain the idea that this simple fact of life is somehow a "Cabalic axiom".
In every instance I have ever seen it uttered its been to reinforce the satanic "service to self over all others" mindset of the material world.
