It does look satisfying--especially providing healthy food for yourself, I'm in Australia and thinking about getting my gun licence soon and then I would look to hunt deer, pigs and smaller critters such as rabbits and wallabies.
I just use my bow for target shooting at this point.
I hope you do just that, nothing better than providing good meat for yourself and your family!
