They do this all over the world OP. i was in NY when comfort was there. There was no one there. I went for a few days as well.

You're missing the key point. Guantanamo Bay is a Naval base. They have all the medical supplies and facilities they need. There is no reason for a "hospital ship" to stop there.

Unless it's depositing civilians.
