Agreed. Regardless of any shirt, they coulda got the guy with biometrics, or traced his steps backward, or a number of different ways. The shirt was the least necessary item in his identification, which leads me to believe.......

It was all about the shirt. The imagery sears the mind much like a meme does. WAY more effective
