I love trends in language as decades go by. Words become popular and most start using them for emphasis and such. The most annoying is 'Like', imo, but the next is LITERALLY literally.
My least favorite is "out", as in (because I watch a lot of home improvement shows), "Let's paint that out", "we'll change this out". Why?
Ask the whole population of Canada the same question
I thought that was "ay"
They're pronunciation of out is like boot. "Had to take the dog oot", "whatcha talking aboot?"
I'd like to ask them just so I can hear their pronunciation of "out", which to my ear sounds more like "oat" than "oot".
