I think you miss phantoms great point. they may be aware of free shit that's to come eventually, but to up and leave your home to a new country with many folks that don't understand your language and no guarantee of a decent existence for a stretch is not something many people take very lightly. most of these migrants must be aided in their journey and given certain promises by someone
