There are many kinds of intelligence, such as memorization, body smarts, art, writing, math, etc... And none of them equate to wisdom, critical thought, or independent spirit.

Indoctrination has programmed the populace to accept white coat/ivory tower words over direct experience and common sense; to doubt reason in favor of proclamations, to abdicate thinking for oneself.
