Don't forget that those are unmoderated boards. Anyone can post anything and can be used to paint the entire board from the post of a few. Bakers were suspect as well. There was a small fight at some point where the phrase qanon was inserted in place of q into the banner image by some bakers and there was an internal revolt against this practice by anons. This tool place BEFORE q posted the defining q/anons =/= qanon.
