"Major Announcement" from Trump is bound to be another letdown.

Why does he even do this? Make the announcement and let the people decide if it is major.

Because the hype that his followers will create for him will bring in more viewership.

But the risk is always over hyping it and the backlash is larger when it is predictably overhyped.
