NC State Treasurer Dale Folwell is one of the best things that ever happened to the state. And he is also my best example of why we should all be vetting and supporting the best candidates for each and every position, elected or appointed, that we can. Or becoming them.
Look at how much power the treasurer can wield. What if every town council, school board, city, county, state office were filled with based Patriots like Dave? That is our mission and responsibility.
Many people believe politic is dirty. I have heard some of church members don't want to get involved in politic because of corruption. Our pastor has to remind them that Daniel is a politician and he was a good man.
I would go run for office and encourage others. I am a little too ancient right now.
Tell them: We don't need politicians, we need public servants. This is why godly people must take the reins- to replace politicians with honest Christian public servants. Of course it's dirty, we allowed it to get that way- then we dare complain instead of helping to clean it up? If we borrow a church facility and our event makes a mess, who is responsible for cleaning it up?

Good analogy.
Good thing Trump gives us a glimpse of the dirtiness. I did not know it was this bad.
