You're speaking my love language! I stacked some silver but not that much. Download a rare coin app and start sifting through your pile! The smallest obscurity, misprint or even which place the coin was minted can have a huge effect on the value! You certainly have some rare valuable coins in that pile that haven't been identified yet! Tedious but fun!
Also separate your fractional silver coins from the pile as they are worth more in their silver weight than they are at face value.
Btw I too only have a little bit of silver and just a couple of gold coins two in fact , but the regular coins I’ve been collecting for a while ever since They started the damn coin shortage. I’m rebellious like that, I purposely use cash in stores and when they say do you have a card I say no , then they say do you have correct change, I say no I don’t! I was in Colorado airport not too long ago and can you believe they would not give me change my bill was like $20.07 at some store , she said I’m sorry I can’t give you change do you have the seven cents ? I said no I don’t , some lady next to me gave me the seven cents, some places won’t give change ! There was a friend on here who talked all about coins and how they’re different than bills it’s a different reserve or something and that coins will always be valuable will always be able to use coins even if they stop paper bells he explained the whole situation it was fascinating after I read that I went out and bought a few more thousand dollars of coins lol
Yes , do you know I started with getting 2 cases of halfs , 500 $ a case I found six real silver halves in those two cases so it got to be real fun for me so here I am at Home Depot buckets of mild detergent water cleaning all these coins now I have like $10,000 worth of coins yes I’ve been looking through them I’ve got all kinds of collectibles now
