This is a gauge of the seriousness of his supporters to put down money where their mouths are.
Except many people can't afford to buy anything extra and are paycheck to paycheck or fixed income.
Doesn't mean they are any less patriotic.
It's not a gauge of support. It's a gauge of support of people that have expendable income...
