Saw a mildly interesting note about the Remdesivir treatment on Wikipedia...

As I understand it, remdesivir doesn't directly cause respiratory failure. What it does is cause KIDNEY failure, such that the kidneys can no longer remove waste fluids from the blood. Since the cells in the lungs are permeable, those fluids collect there instead, and the patients essentially drown when said fluids prevent the lungs from absorbing oxygen.
That's why hospitals began rolling patients onto their stomachs, to try to avoid the pooling in the lungs, and facilitate draining (or vacuuming) out the mouth.
True. And it kills in a way that looks like covid. That is why Fauci set it as the main treatment and used our tax dollars to give 20% kickbacks of the entire hospital bill to the hospitals.
Duh, when it's being given to people with respiratory distress who are already in danger of respiratory failure there's bound to be a correlation. And it could be true that because of that, respiratory failure happens at least as often as any other effect.
