Help was on its way. They were told to stand down. U.S. AFRICORP HQ located in Italy had birds (C-130s with rescue teams) in the air about 1 hour away. BHO personally Aborted mission and the Commanding General was immediately relieved before the birds landed. I forgot the Generals name. 4 star. Immediately relieved for "Loss of Confidence" equivalent to UCMJ Article 134 "Catch all article".
