Action by the FTC is not even remotely similar to a "Gamergate 2.0". The FTC is, at least, actually attempting to do their job and has nothing in common with Gamergate issues like corporate/journalistic fraud and wokeness.
What IS "Gamergate 2.0" is that Acti-crap won't ban streamers that cheat in COD, has a woke cheater-friendly marketing team, and has released an absolute piece of garbage for Warzone 2 (while at the same time removing most of Warzone 1).
SOMEBODY misses Rebirth hahahaaa...but I agree; Hactivision does nothing about bums like Dr. Disrespect who are clearly running wallies and aim enhancement...I love the new map, but dislike the weird, new flow to the game...
As a gamer of over 40 years, I don't understand the reasoning behind this. Sony was able to get Street Fighter V, s sequel toan extremely popular title with now 35 years of history, as an exclusive. They own many development houses, and have tons of exclusive titles, licenses. Seems kind of fishy...
There's lots to hate about Microsoft as a whole, historically speaking, but their gaming side of the house is NOT one of them. They've been a net positive force in the gaming world. They would most likely clean up Activision and the COD franchise quite nicely. Not sure why this gets the attention of the FTC...
