Puerto Rico has sucked up Trillions in debt. If they become a state, that debt gets evenly distributed to us. If they become independent, they never have to pay it off and become another client state like Haiti. It's already a huge trafficking hub as it is. Imagine what worse things will happen and establish themselves in the chaos of statehood or even independence! More Clowns to distract the sheeple!

Don't blame the people, they have no say. The corruption in PR has been going on forever. Blame the Congressmen and Senators of the US who hold stock in trade companies that do business and keep the Johnson Act in effect when it hasn't been needed since the world wars ended. They insist on keeping it and of course they own tons of shares of stock in the shipping companies. They wont allow a foreign ship to enter so all cargo has to be offloaded in Miami then reloaded onto US ships increasing the price of everything as well as their profits. The tax haven for crypto fucks was installed by the US also. They have been doing horrible things for decades. Billions given for Hurricane Maria and still nothing is done and the money went missing. Its a horrible situation for the island. They lose regardless of what happens.
