It's like they never went away after ww2. Just got shuffled into places in some operation. Those not paper clipped into U.S. positions "high jumped" themselves "deeper" elsewhere. (Ukraine. Argentina. Antarctica)

The only thing that ended in 1945 was active wartime fighting. But who really "won"?
