How about the cops who threatened to arrest you simply because you went into a restaurant, or a gym. Their oath to uphold the Constitution must be absolute, and not the whim of some petty tyrant. They never should have gone along with this stuff.
The police force was not designed under the Constitution, Sheriffs are. Sheriffs are elected by the people they represent. The Sheriff has the power to deputize a person if they need them. If he does you must go. Many Police follow orders of whoever signs their check, because they have been told to.
So, Nobody working for the govt. has a right to take your Constitutional rights! Nobody is above the Constitution. If there is a law that is repugnant to the Constitution, it is null and void. Every police officer that threatened arrest to citizens for doing nothing more than exercising their God given freedoms, need to lose their qualified immunity. Maybe, if they had to actually think before "following orders" we wouldn't have been in this mess. Gyms, restaurants, churches could have all opened, except for the threat of arrest.
Our Law is based this way, a Sheriff has the power over the Feds, the sheriff can tell the feds that if they come into his county, they must go directly to him to get permission. If they don't, he can arrest and charge them.
In one of these illegal harassment cases lately, they busted a fedboy that was harassing a woman at her home for no legal reason. She called the sheriff terrified that the guy was going to kill her if she opened the door. The sheriff told her not to hang up or answer her door.
They came right away with multiple cars, and he would not even comply with the order to put his hands up. They finally had to tazze him. And one of his charges which he admitted was saying he was a police officer. Charged with impersonating an officer.
We need to have all Constitutional Sheriffs in power. And in order for them to be strong we must back them the best we can. In some of the old westerns you see the grumpy banker deputized grumbling about it.

Those who just complied without question, especially pastors and medical staff should be held accountable and will be by God.
I'm gonna pass on being deputized and being "forced" to go.

Nobody should have the authority to force someone into "service."
