The lesser of two evils; McCarthy or Pelosi!

If McCarthy does not have the votes, Pelosi could actually be voted in as Speaker! A minority Speaker in a Republican majority House!

Pelosi stepped down from leadership. If the GOP split their votes, the speakership would go to Hakeem Jeffries, a radical socialist racist from NYC. The Dems made him their leader after the election.
