I just took a trip and need to leave pets because I have not seen my family for 3.5 years. Reunion with mom and sis. They want kitchen sink vaccines to board. Talked to neighbor and paid them to watch the dogs at home.
Where there is a will, there is always a way. Ashlanddog knew me too well now. Ashland has 3 dogs.
You are very fortunate.
I figure if I ask God, my way will be made smooth.
Truth is, there's several options. Rover is one of them. You can board or have house-sitters without the vax. Neighbors and friends are good options also.
People aren't as friendly and obliging in the UK, specially if you have a large long haired Alsatian. I am enjoying my freedom for the time being.
Do you have something called rover.com? You will have to do interview of course. I used to have a dedicated babysitter (dogsitter) until I moved. I went thru Care.com to hire her.
Of course, you have to trust person.
