I have a problem with same sex marriages. I’m assuming homosexuals. Yes that’s a problem. Not only are they choosing to live in sin, now they are pretending it’s normal in the eyes of God? I don’t hate them, but I hate their sin. And I hate it for them, if this the path they have chosen. It’s against God. And extremely troubling if they are people who may call themselves a Christian.

Yes,
I'm not Christian, but I accept that marriage is a religious concept, although there can be the non-religious equivalent.
So the state does not get to redefine the word or the concept of marriage, it's not theirs to redefine.
