What is this thread all about?
Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.
Does not need to be Q related.
Nice to have a place to not have to start a new thread.
Question to pot smokers (or former); I wasn't really a heavy smoker, but consistent (2-3 one-hitters most nights) and had to stop because I have been looking for work and in my field the majority of jobs have drug testing conditions.
So, since I've stopped, I've been noticing that my dreams have become far more consistent and vivid... the first few nights were nightmares that woke me up, but have now toned into more typical dreams.
Has anyone else gone through similar when stopping?
Yes. You will dream again, after quitting. At first, the dreams are vivid and memorable. As your brain and body adjusts, they'll go back to being less vivid. Pro tip: do not eat sharp cheese before you go to sleep, you will get nightmares. Mine were usually confusing and uncomfortable, but not horrible.
Other times I've stopped, I don't remember a change in dreams, not nearly to the degree as this time, which is odd because I would still occasionally remember at least that I HAD dreams, but you know, wanting to have a sanity check that this was the most likely source.
(BTW- I did just get the offer, and yes, has a drug test... so it was good I stopped when I did so that I'll be about a month and a half out, and wasn't smoking as much as I did around high school. Especially if it's the mouth swab, I should be safe.)
Thanks
