This meme, the wikipedia page on the Weimer Republic, and your post title don't align. I get that Wikipedia is unreliable, but the Weimer Republic apparently preceded Hitler and was weakened by inflation, allowing a usurpation of power by Hitler later. That doesn't make it an oppressive neo-liberal democracy. I guess I would need to dig a lot further. I admit I know nothing about it... but many times people flip scripts. This seems like that.
