actually.... "lake mead" is returning to normal... that was a man-made dam... not a natural geological feature.
It is not returning to normal. Look at the drops over the past 10 years. They had some monsoon’s lately that helped refill a little but its a drop in the bucket. Then figure out where most of the water is going (cali). There is gunna be tough decisions made to keep feeding the amount of water to cali and to keep the lights on for las vegas/nevada
Check out a youtube channel called: sin city outdoors. They’ve been covering this since the summer
I've been watching them also. I had read a very interesting article from a Yale study that explained everything South of Lake Mead was a fertile basin prior to the Hoover Dam. If you have been watching Sin City Outdoors, you will notice how lush the banks have become since the water level drops.
I would love to see more of the downstream area to see if it has also benefitted from the water level drop. California dumps fresh water into the ocean while routing Lake Mead water to Southern California. Was Lake Mead dammed to this extent to control the land in the Southwest for nefarious purposes?
Ok I did and now that I have been distracted by the videos for the last hour+.....maybe time to get dressed?
WtW....Kari Lake.
Today, it's watch Kari Lake.
Lake Mead continues to be in real trouble with low water levels...
