Can you elaborate on that ? Allowing someone who has TikTok on their phone to connect to my Wi-Fi is a security risk to me ?

Yes, their ToS allows them to collect data on the entire network of whatever the device running it is connected to. I'll look it up when I get home, but Tiktok is a spyware program masquerading as a social media app.
