If there should be an investigation later on I am sure that it will be no-one's fault. Perhaps if names coud be established now that might, either, expedite matters further down the line or encourage someone to hold a review now to see if the correct decisions were taken and their prison regime could be relaxed or even, dare I say, they could be allowed bail.
I'm generally only in support of this for the worst of the worst, but if you threw people in the gulag for peacefully protesting the government, you get the rope, not leniency.
