In an ideal world, the Bible would be its own library of congress. It takes years of study to learn to perform life saving surgeries, years of study to build rocket ships, but all I need for eternal salvation is a ritual that magically makes life better- oh but I also have to go to a specific building every week- oh and also go to these retreats- oh I need context- oh and you want my money?
The Bible is a key. A starting point. It is not the end all be all, and without Jesus, it falls to shit as a moral standard. The only Christians with any moral authority on Jesus are the ones who have sold their possessions, picked up their cross and are following Him to that extreme. The rest of us are hypocrites. And so while I will consider your ideas, you're considered a peer in this exchange.
Which version of the Bible is the correct version? Which brand of Christianity got it correct? When you start to ask simple questions and resist the "muh Satan" programming, you start to realize most churches are actually complicit in the cabal's agenda.
Exactly! And i do consider myself to be a peer amongst you here. I am broken lost and seeking my Savior.
Everything below this line i wrote is useless.
Really, all the Bible versions are correct.
It is God's word. Written by man who was divinely inspired. It is a guide, none of us can be as Jesus was. We all have our own path, each one of us has a different means to the same end.
You dont need to go to a building or give the church money. You just have to repent and trust in Christ that he died to atone for our sins. He paid the cost that our sins brought upon us so that we may be forever in fellowship with him for eternity.
If you don't see it that way that's fine. The most selfless act would be to give up ones salvation in order to bring others to Christ.
In the beginning the bible was the "library of congress" all the laws are contained in it. No man could keep these laws... You know the rest...
We fellowship in the name of Jesus for love of each other.
