They would theoretically have an appeal to the federal appellate courts once they exhaust state appeals under the theory that they have been denied a federal constitutional right, and that can be appealed to SCOTUS. I agree it’s an extreme long shot (if that’s what you’re saying) and it’s highly unlikely they will be successful
They have to appeal to at least one intermediate court before SCOTUS, which would happen well after Hobbs is sworn in as governor
SCOTUS won't hear state election cases as they dont have standing to, only one state level appellant court here.
