I didn't think the military would back off of the mandate. IMO this will open the door for lawsuits against the DoD from all the service members who took the jab but did not want to.
I think it was Todd Callender who said that the flu vaccine is mixed with the vaxx now so they are still being injected? I just remember him saying it's not the victory we all wanted/think it is.

Exactly, I'm in the process of fighting the jab now. I submitted the Religious Accomodation Request for the COVID jab only, but knowing what I know now, I'm not taking any more vaccines.
So glad that this became law....! Lots of co-workers are angry that they were coerced. Only I and a select few held the line.
Lankford’s amendment to rescind the COVID-19 vaccine mandate appears in Section 525 (page 407) of the FY23 NDAA.
RESCISSION OF COVID-19 VACCINATION MANDATE. Not later than 30 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense shall rescind the mandate that members of the Armed Forces be vaccinated against COVID-19 pursuant to the memorandum dated August 24, 2021, regarding ‘‘Mandatory Coronavirus Disease 2019 Vaccination of Department of Defense Service Members’’.
