But your case sounds more like you already had an underlying heart condition, and the sickness you went through just exacerbated it.
Or perhaps the symptoms you felt were all because of the heart to begin with, weakness, body pains, difficulty breathing, cold sweats, it can all be related to the heart.
The tests always used to give a positive if you had even the slightest faint trace of any influenza virus in your system, like if you had gotten a little sniffle 2 months prior, it would test positive, at least that's the "lore" anyway...
Since you tested negative it could be another indication that the entire thing was all related to the heart condition, and not the cause of it.
The flu was never linked to heart problems before, ever, now suddenly it is.. together with climate change, and gaming of course.
