Hormone replacement treatment actually is offered to women who experience bad cramps, I know this because I suffered and a doctor recommended it,(I declined and continued using advil and heating pads). You cannot have "period cramps" with out the hardware, and, if anything, hormones would get rid of them. What too much estrogen will do is cause depression, weepiness, weight gain, and swollen breasts.It does not cause a person to grow magical ovaries, invisible ovaries, or conceptual ovaries. Believe me, cramps do not make you feel like a woman. Menopause was a gift to me in this department.
