Genetics determine the hormone produced that create the features. Trade out the hormones early enough.....
Anyway, I didn't say it could.
I said it was probably trying. XX and XY don't seem to care what hormone they get and if you give testosterone to a girl she will develop masculine features, estrogen to a boy will develop female features. At such a young age, if they overdose (that is if they are getting more than their natural hormone) they will develop features that are not their natural features. Ignoring that hormones have physical effects on the body is kind of how we got here.
Testosterone is responsible for male development and if a male is taking female hormones before they are fully developed the body will be physically different than how they should be post development. If his nads are suddenly being drawn into his body because the estrogen is telling his body to change his nads into ovaries.... What is the likelihood that he even knows what a period is? He just knows that he is in pain and people are laughing at him because he was coerced into what should be considered an illegal medical experiment.
It isn't that hard to comprehend. Stop trying to make it something that it is not.
Testosterone has been found to cause lowering of the female voice... Girls ain't got none of the stuff required for that. Hormones are a big deal.
What you call features are scientifically called Secondary Sex Characteristics. Secondary because they are not central to the reproductive system.
Not sure what you think I'm trying to make it. Screwing with hormones by giving kids food that affects their normal levels is already criminal. Flooding them with hormones that destroy their development, make their bones permanently brittle, etc is more criminal.
I thought that I was clear that I agree hormone treatment for no reason should be considered an illegal medical experiment. I believe that I even said, perhaps I did not an will now anyway, treatment should be delayed until it is a known benefit to the person receiving and that cannot always be determined young.
We are largely in this mess because of chemicals that our ancestors were exposed to altering our bodies abilities to correctly develop and the medical industry jumped in to make a quick buck.
Attacking the people mislead is still incorrect.
Denying that hormones have physical effects on bodies doesn't make it ok.
His body can't try to grow anything it doesn't have the instructions for. His genes do not have coding for female parts, full stop.
