Wow. That was tough to listen to. The kid just wanted to play hockey. After being locked down for over a year, the kid probably felt like 'taking the shot is a small price to be able to get out of the house.'

Plus, the dad sounded like he's from either a northern state or Canada. There, hockey is way of life and young folks would cut off a finger to be able to play.

The Day of the Rope can't come soon enough.
