Freezing temps across US prompt utility companies to implement 'rolling blackouts' and order customers to cut energy usage
Some US power companies are asking customers to reduce their power use and are using rolling blackouts to conserve energy due to extreme cold temps.
They banned all Wood stoves on the Island of Montreal a decade ago.
Didn't they just recently, or just tried recently to ban gas stoves in California too?
Anything to give people zero options.
Then ---- they call it global warming....
80% of EVs are on the road, 20% made it home.
I live in Alberta, a coworker drives 80km a day in his tesla even when it's -40°C. The cold weather issues of evs is overstated. He had no issues with charging and according to him the range loss figures I see here are also wrong.
Failure when temps hit 19 degrees or less if I remember correctly.
It is all planned.
