Edit - since I can't pin it - bold for visibility, this is the comment I was referring to in the OP.
First, admittedly not an unbiased source, but the details don't sound great.
Second, searching on what Exodus Cry actually is and how it's phrased ("an American Christian non-profit advocacy organization seeking the abolition of the legal commercial sex industry, including pornography" " a fringe Evangelical group with far-right ties") makes me think more likely over the target than not....
I haven't read the article you linked yet, but just from the outset it appears to be just like every other inflammatory hit piece ever concocted against the Tates. Whether or not there is any chicanery afoot, when I see articles with slanted, cookie cutter anti-Tate rhetoric like this one I immediately think "propaganda".
Dealing with 6 years of never-Trumping has got my journalistic spider senses tuned into hypersensitivity mode. Now we have ourselves in the 365 days of Never-Tate, which has increased in fervor over the last 6 months or so as he's become more outspoken against the establishment.
Maybe there is something to this story, but as it stands, my skepticism amplifier is cranked to 11.
