I always looked at this leeches cure as humbug, now I’m no longer so sure. Maybe it did work. I know nothing about it, but my trust in science is all but gone.

There ARE very specific instances when leeches actually do have medical benefits though. Like if you have a seriously injured limb and the blood isn’t circulating properly but instead pooling in the limb for example, there are medical leeches still used today.
