I was interested to be told by Polish people that they were relieved the Germans had arrived instead of the Russians. They said the Germans were smart, disciplined and polite; there were no rapes or looting.
A friend of mine, from Marseille France, (we are both pushing 50 today, soo, old enough to have spoken to people who are old enough) told me that if you asked someone who was alive during WWII, which occupying force they "preferred" most would say the Germans.
Echoing exactly " They were smart disciplined and polite". the rapes and looting we're done by large, the "Americans".

You cannot judge an entire group of people from a single photo. Because there are thousands of photos from inside concentration camps. And they tell a far different story than this single image.
Second that. And you didn't need to be a Jew to find yourself in the camps. All you needed to do was piss off a Nazi soldier, refuse to give the Nazi salute, or something like that and off to the camps you went as a political subversive. There were plenty of Germanic people with the same "master race" Aryan blood as the Germans in those camps. We talk as if it were only the Jews and that's a bullshit lie.
It's also why I'm skeptical of countless other narratives about the war. So much of what's in our textbooks and taught today is simply not accurate and it obscures how the fascist system operated. In fact, it looked a lot more like the Biden regime than anyone today wants to admit publicly: state control of the media and academia, alliances with powerful corporate interests who push the ideology in their regular business dealings, control over the banks, a police state that expressed a paranoid fear of political opposition, lots of use of moral language, the distinct use of race to divide people into "good" and "bad" camps, rhetorical demonization and dehumanization of the "bad" people... I could go on.
People need to learn real history. The Germans were not at all nice to the French resistance, despite that calm Paris café picture.
Evil has many faces. A cover is no way to judge a book. Both of these are from the pits of hell!
This is evidence that nothing will change what they are at their core. No amount of money, civilization, understanding, etc.

The nazis couched their acts in ideology including history, myth, legend, philosophy (Kant/Hegel/Nietsche) religion, architecture and art, twisted or not. All this is sorely lacking in it's spoiled child, a degradated doppleganger who pretends to be it's enemy.
