Its an employee problem.

Two generations ago about ~80% of the doctors were self employed, having their own practices. ~20% were employed at a hospital or had some sort of employment status.

Now these numbers are more or less switched, meaning that most doctors are taking orders from someone.

I find this to be a possible explanation of how anti scientific many doctors have been during the “pandemic”.
