hide her shame and guilt? Pretend it never happened? Out of overwhelming shame?
How many people do you know, who can admit their wrongs and then turn around and fight for the other side?
My stepmom won't even admit that I gave her the good idea to store garlic powder in the freezer so it won't clump, why would she admit to me (with the fury of a lioness) that she was wrong all this time, and took 5 (yes, five) booster shots?

Are you sure? Would you be able to reconcile with what you have done?
One would have to walk back everything they've said and done. For me, I haven't seen that in many peoples.
I really do hope it could happen, though.
